At M-G Lawnmower Shop, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy with your lawn equipment for any reason, we offer a straightforward 30-day return policy with no restocking fees. This Return and Refund Policy explains the return process, eligibility requirements, refund timelines, and how we handle defective or damaged items.

1. Overview

You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Returns must be in unused, original condition with all parts, accessories, and packaging included. We do not charge restocking fees for returns.

2. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return and refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • Timeframe: You must initiate the return within 30 days from the date you received your order (not the date you placed the order)
  • Condition: The item must be unused, in original condition, and free from damage beyond initial inspection
  • Packaging: All original packaging, boxes, inserts, manuals, accessories, and parts must be included
  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide your order number or receipt
  • No Signs of Use: Equipment should not show signs of operation, wear, modification, or outdoor use

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to a partial refund at our discretion.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items that have been used, operated, or show signs of wear
  • Items returned without original packaging, accessories, or parts
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper storage, or customer error
  • Special order or custom-configured items (if indicated at the time of purchase)

4. Return Process

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at info@mglawnmowershop.com or call +1 310-822-6384 within 30 days of receiving your order
  2. Provide Information: Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return
  3. Receive Return Authorization: We will respond within 1 business day with a Return Authorization (RA) number and detailed return instructions
  4. Package Your Return: Securely pack the item in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and parts. Include the RA number on the outside of the package
  5. Ship the Item: Ship the item back using the carrier and method specified in your return instructions. Keep your tracking number for reference
  6. Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 7-10 business days

Important: Do not ship items back without contacting us first and receiving a Return Authorization number. Unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed.

5. Return Shipping Costs

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we will cover all return shipping costs. We will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label via email. Simply print the label, attach it to your package, and drop it off at the designated carrier location.

Change of Mind or Buyer’s Remorse

If you are returning an item due to a change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or personal preference, you are responsible for return shipping costs. You may use any carrier of your choice, but we recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure your return reaches us safely.

6. Refund Timeline

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to confirm it meets our return eligibility requirements. If approved, your refund will be processed according to the timeline below:

Total Refund Time = Processing Time + Bank Posting Time

  • Processing Time: 7-10 business days after we receive and inspect your return
  • Bank Posting Time: 3-7 business days for your bank or payment provider to post the refund to your account
  • Total Time: 10-17 business days from the date we receive your return

Example Timeline:

  • Monday: We receive your return
  • Tuesday-Wednesday: Inspection and approval
  • Following Monday-Wednesday: Refund processed and sent to your payment provider
  • Following Monday-Friday: Refund appears in your account

You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

7. Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Refund will appear on the same card used for purchase
  • PayPal: Refund will be credited to your PayPal account
  • Apple Pay/Google Pay: Refund will be credited to the card linked to your digital wallet

We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method or card than the one originally used. If the original payment method is no longer available (e.g., expired card), please contact your bank or payment provider for assistance.

8. Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct product exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item for a different model, size, or specification, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the desired product.

This ensures you receive the correct item quickly without delays in processing exchanges.

9. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or does not match the product description, please contact us immediately:

  1. Email us at info@mglawnmowershop.com within 7 days of delivery
  2. Provide your order number, photos of the damaged/defective item, and a description of the issue
  3. We will respond within 1 business day with a solution, which may include:
    • Replacement: We will ship a replacement item at no cost to you
    • Full Refund: We will issue a full refund and provide a prepaid return label
    • Partial Refund: If the issue is minor and you wish to keep the item, we may offer a partial refund

You will not be charged for return shipping on defective or damaged items. We will provide a prepaid return label if a return is necessary.

10. Restocking Fees

We do not charge restocking fees. If your return meets our eligibility requirements, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price. Shipping costs (if you paid for expedited shipping) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (defective, damaged, or incorrect item).

If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe (10-17 business days from the date we received your return), please:
